On our island tour we also visited Fort Hamilton
which guards the entrance to Admiralty Bay.
Now, does your wife use cinamon in her doughnuts or
not?
.
The view of Port Elizabeth from the
fort.
One of the locally built racing
skiffs.
Model building goes on all over the island; from
"Endeavour" the biggest J Class of them all, to coconut boats which are
raced locally.
And for my Landrover spot, an old Series 2, from
1964. The lady who owns it has had it for 15 years and has no
intention of selling. The island is full of old Land Rovers, as I said earlier,
there were no roads here until a few years ago, only rough tracks.
This one is being transferred to a new chassis
which can be seen on the right. Well, were off to Mustigue today, a grand ocean
voyage of eight miles.
