You haven't heard from us for a couple of days and its been time well
wasted! We are currently (still) having the motor pump for the aft shower
repaired, but we think we've now got things sorted for the Lewmar hydraulics
system,. This has involved a lot of offort from people in the UK and we'd
want to thank Derek at Yachting Sports (and hope his email gets better
soon), Dave Mellish at Lewmar and most of all our next guests out - Denis
and Viv, for it is they who have had to get things sorted to collect a
filter from Havant and get it nicely nestled amongst their holiday finery
for transportaiton here tomorrow! It's never plain sailing here. Once the
filter is fitted and after they have gone on their merry way, we will have
to have a feeder hose replaced, so it will be back to Rodney Bay for a few
more repairs! Aah, how the bank balance suffers.......
The weather here is getting ever stickier, with torrential showers off and
on through the day and night. It will be good to get some sailing in in the
next few days though and we trust that Viv will take to this lark like a
duck to water.....
