Another night of running WSW so we have gybed to turn us more westerly which
will hopefully improve our distance to finish in relation to miles run. A
very disturbed night for all the crew with temperature and sea state making
sleep hard to find. I found all of it (sleep that is) and might have as well
been in a hotel bed! Crew not always happy about this situation so I have to
be delicate about how well I slept.
The highland games went well but there were no visiting clansmen so Prim
Teaze won all events so I vote it a great success. The fishing has been
postponed for a while until it will not take a trapeze/high wire/clown act
to bring anything caught on board.
We are about to go "goose winged", one sail out either side of the boat, to
see if this will steady her up a bit and also increase her speed. Will let
you know.

Skippers bit: All of the above and also to say that crew spirits are good if
somewhat tired overall. At this rate it looks like we will be in around
Saturday week. We shall see.
