The marina is just across the water from Playa Blanca and has a host of facilities – there are lots of single/double storey apartment complexes dotted around a big area, very prettily set out and looked after.  The marina itself is the heart of the area and its boating clients have use of a large swimming pool. We made the most of that pool yesterday – just before the rain came!  For an island that boasts no rain, it did very well for a couple of hours in the evening. The rain is due to clear by lunchtime and we plan an expedition to Playa Blanca today and back at the marina this evening. Tonight’s the start of a music weekend, so we decided to stay here another couple of nights and see what Lanzarote festival time is like!  There’s also some J18 boats in for a regatta this weekend, so the place should be busy.
