Saturday afternoon saw us reach another milestone, crossing the 1000 miles
to go marker and the boys were quick to celebrate with a beer! No fishing
took place, but the competition will continue right to Rodney Bay no doubt!
Gervais will be plying her trade again on Sunday in the hope of hooking up
with a good looking tuna! We have lost the strong winds that were enabling
us to make good progress in the right direction under sail, so time for the
skipper to rethink tactics. It probably doesn't help matters when most
nights on the change of watch he constantly finds us heading towards
Venezuela!! Now how could that happen I wonder? Having crossed 45degrees
west we've lost another hour, so the race for time continues. Bodgit and
Scamper Dental Practice came into fruition with an attempt to reaffix a
crown, needless to say it didn't stay in place for long and an appointment
will be made in Rodney Bay!
Sunday sees us enjoying another glorious day of sunshine, definitely a
factor 20 day and a strong possibility of bikinis on display! A big hello to
all family, friends and colleagues at EDF Energy - enjoy the Christmas Party
next week! Sandra
