A BLOWY TIME

We’re confined to marina barracks for the time being, the wind being gusty and from the South East – means that if and when we got out we could find no safe place to anchor – nor any space in other marinas.  The coast around here is not suitable for anchoring, having just a thin dusting of sand over lots of big rock.  We have been sun bathing, but the beaches are black so far, so haven’t ventured into the water yet.

We’re taking a car for the day tomorrow, so as well as touring the biggest mountain in Spain, we’re going to the original Pueblo settlement on the island that started it all off.  Will try and find a sandy beach on the way!  Still hot and sunny with temperatures regularly in the 80’s - 90’s.
