We landed here safely on Saturday - late afternoon.  Janice and Paul coped with the long journey very well, each standing their watch and no signs of mal de mer, apart from a lot of snoozing! The crossing was uneventful and very empty of wildlife, we really wanted to see more stuff up here, but it was not to be.  Tom's just gone off to clear customs, as we cannot set foot on land here without that happening.  Where other places have a more relaxed attitude, there's an official here who will impose hefty fines if he believes you have landed and the Captain has not cleared.  This game can take anything up to a day to complete and is very frustrating, though its important to give all the officials their due respect and attend their offices properly attired.  On Antigua, Tom saw a shoeless Ozzie sent back to his boat for shoes, then further reprimanded for a surly attitude....

Anyway, here's Nevis, plus phenomenon around the sun seen in Jolly Harbour, mean to be bad weather (well the wind did blow).
