WHAT A FEW DAYS!

The marina is full to bursting with the weather not proving to be offering the balmy breezes of last year.  Most boats are arriving wind-blown and drenched and choosing to remain in the marina - this means that some boats are now having to fit three to a berth!  This really applies to the smaller later ones, who have all had a tough time anyway.

We survived the toughest of the 24 hour period - what a marathon!  The weather was atrocious and we saw nearly 40 boats safely across the finish line, sometimes running as many as six boats calling in from various distances and "interesting" accents.  The bay was also crowded with cruisers and two tall ships, so these guys had to try and pick out our lights from the spread of the bay, plus these guys!  Well done all, I say!

The tall (and small) ships                            Finish line boats PT oL and Waylander enjoy off-duty time!
