Today saw the arrival of the  new fuses. Yet again, Yachting Sports have come to the rescue (mind you they did send a final invoice with it!!)

and we have now fitted it and everything is working as it should be. We have looked at the long term forecast and have decided to have tomorrow

to tidy up and make ready for the ocean passage (500 mile plus trip) and then we shall leave at first light on Thursday. This will be a great relief

to Dave and Sheena who are joining us in Madeira on the 13^th. All I can say to them is that it is quite hot and clothes are of the minimal kind.

We have enjoyed anchoring just outside Faro. We have stopped just short of the ‘lagoon’ that they talk about but it is still easy to get ashore.

We have had a great reception at the Ginasio Clube Navale where we tie up the rib when we go ashore and also allowed us to use their office

as a delivery address. We would recommend this place to any other sailors who are coming this direction.

Well, with sat phone working now the updates should remain quite regular so from Faro, Portugal
