HERE IN ST PIERRE

St Pierre is a quaint village on the North of Martinique - the last pit-stop
for checking out and full of that black sand so indicative of volcanic
activity. They got wiped out on Ascension Day 1902, but we'll be gone long
before that - tomorrow morning in fact. We shall leave at first light - our
trip to the Saintes is about 70 miles and it looks like no wind (again), so
the sails will get a rest. Guess they are saving themselves for the trip
back across the big pond.

Anyway, you will next hear from us when we're in Guadeloupe - should arrive
there on Saturday evening.
