RESTFUL TIMES

After our quiet trip down to Sines (well, apart from the little matter of the hydraulics not wishing to bring in the main), we’ve been able to spend a little time sitting in a much cheaper marina, before hitting the high spots (and prices) of the Algarve. The resort is picturesque and seems to have benefited from an injection of funding (EU?) as the marina has been updated and the beaches are groomed daily.   Wifi is supplied courtesy of another boat on the marina, and the marina itself still has some work to go to complete its facelift.  After a bit of rain overnight the last two nights, today is sunny, though not the temperatures previously experienced.

Well, after waxing lyrical about the resort, back to mundane matters.   Tom has had his bank details re-arranged (by the Bank) – so now cannot withdraw money. He’s spent the last couple of days trying to get them to sort themselves out – but it may take a little longer than that, so food parcels please.  Okay, okay, we’ll just have to learn to fish……..

We’ll e leaving here, with some good wind, on Sunday and heading down to Lagos, where we will be joined by other guests.
