Charters have proved to be the latest in a line of helpful souls who have
turned their hand to repairing the various faults that have chosen to
manifest themselves. Yesterday saw the new fridge finally working - though
we still need to sort the problem of storage inside, having lost the
shelving to the cool plate space. No doubt we will find boxes to do the
job. The leaks around the stays we hope also to have got fixed yesterday;
they just have to do the acid - or in this case water - test. Hydraulics
are still work in progress, so Robert and Sandra's cases may yet be filled
with Lewmar nuts and bolts!
We are in the company of a cat called "Cool Change". They are friends of
Joe and Shaw off Libertas, who also come into the bay tomorrow. Cool Cat is
hauling out down here, whilst Libertas will stay snuggled around the South
Coast shelters for hurricane season.
