good excuses both times. In the spirit of the occasion, however, Tom's
insisting we go over to Scuttlebutts at lunchtime (our time), have a beer
and hit one another. (It's so humid our here, it may well be that others
join in as well - who knows!)
For those of you who aren't familiar, it's just an ancient Scottish
tradition - the only thing missing is the rain!
