Last evening was windy as expected, but in the end no more than f8; the front finally cleared around 2300. I didn't need the drogue. The last three days have been much harder for me physically than when I've previously been in such conditions, so with regret I recognise the time has come for me to stop this type of sailing. I have now retired from the Jester challenge with thanks to the helm, well wishers, and fair winds to other challengers. I intend to head N toward the UK.
