Plan A is now in the bin. Forecast hints at a
deep depression forming N of Azores on Sat/Sun, perhaps even a full storm. (It
will be interesting if today's forecast backs this up) So instead of
heading S of West I'm heading W of South for a few days to try to get
under the worst of the weather. The last 24 hours has been more gentle with
sunshine and the first full night sky of stars. Time and balance for
better cooking. Winds are very light W - much fiddling with
sails and tacking to little real
advantage.
