We are now home in Emsworth Yacht harbor. We had a superb sail through Lyme bay, sunshine and spinnaker, then off Portland we were treated to a spectacular visit from a pod of dolphins.  Overall the passage from the Azores has taken 19 days, rather long due to a slow first week threading around high pressure ridges, although enjoying the sunshine. Thanks to Andy (crew) for a cheerful voyage. On the return from the Azores the combination of two small solar panels and the tow generator provided all the power to run AIS/GPS/Radio, occasional RADAR and lights, the engine was used only out and into port. Sandpiper still looks good after around 4500 nm this summer, there is some wear and tear that now needs attention - mostly nav lights and boom vang.
