TRADES - WHAT TRADES !! (GOING NOWHERE FAST !)

Having finally got down to the trade wind latitude,
turned right for St Lucia, the winds have died ! The wind was so light
last night that we eventually had to motor. Today it has been even on the
nose and is now returning to the south east but is only 7 knots! We
should be there by Christmas (next year!). Though lovely and hot and
officially designated a sunbathing day (harnesses not required). Two
other ARC boats on the horizon and we are planning to go into the night with
full main and assymetric up for the first time. Whistling for
wind!
