This is race is getting quite exciting now with the lead group about to come together and probably stop in the South Atlantic High. This is a semi-permanent high and a big windless zone. The northern Hemisphere equivalent is the Azores High. Damien Guillou of France is making great progress particularly giving a week away to his competitors when he had to return for wind vane repairs. The next few days will see a lead change I suspect when the high spits everyone out towards Cape Town and the next film drop.
