It's the day before and a day of mixed fortune's
and a day to worry.........about what we're not worrying about ! The other crews
as a rule seem to be running around, doing this and that and tinkering with
things whilst we're sat on the berth. Brians been for a shower, Pete's asleep on
the settee and Robert's wandering around taking photo's of things.
We have fixed one problem which came to light
though, the log after a week of sitting here had decided it wasn't going to work
anymore so needed to be removed from the boat and cleaned out. We've fuelled up
with just over 200 litres of diesel and we've filled the water tank to the
limit.
One huge disappointment today when Izzy from World
Cruising Club came to ask a favour, stating we had a small crew and a big boat.
Great we thought, she wants a berth for the trip !! However all we got was a few
bin bags full of stuff to take to Portugal for them (must affect our handicap in
some positive way) not to mention being worth a drink or two in the bar this
evening....
