A more peaceful night

Dear readers,
I'm sure you'll be pleased to know that the last 24 hrs have been a lot less eventful than the previous ones. After reaching for most of the day on the large Genoa alone (but still managing respectable pace) we decided the "offensive sausage would be allowed out of it's hole. No problems hoisting it this time and we're currently heading South West on a level with the Sahara about 220 miles off the coast of Africa. There were lots of boats around us during the night but they seem to have spread out somewhat this morning. Strangely despite huge secrecy over tactics for our battle with Rebel T they are about 2 miles away from us after all this time. Peter's bruises appear very impressive after his "ordeal" but no permanent damage is obvious. The rest of the crew are happy and chilled and even Robert appears to have ceased being quite so ill and is getting into the swing of things.
We tried a new watch system last night of 2 on watch for 4 hours at a time which appeared to work well, so will be tried again tonight.
The boat appears happy and well, with only one block (a pulley the ropes run through) giving us any cause for concern. It's used on the Parasail and has a significant amount of force going through it. Hopefully it'll hold but as they say, time will tell.
Take care out there (and here)
Love the Cat Lads xx
