Towards Cape Finnistere
Cat-man-do

Still No sunshine, still in wet weather gear and
rather Chilly !!
It has to be said though we're having a cracking
sail using no engines for the last 2 days. It's looking like it'll probably stay
that way for a good while yet too. Yesterday was another first for us on this
boat as I had to go up the mast whilst we were still sailing which was
"interesting" One of the main sail cars had come adrift and the thought of
leaving it and risking it tearing the whole lot on a broad reach didn't appeal
so up the mast I went. It's suprising how much it moves around up there, even on
the cat, but another little adventure to add to the list of lifes experience.
Talking of experiences, Pete made some sort of Tuna
fried rice thingy yesterday, and considering it consisted of "there's something
else in the cupboard, that'll do" it was a damn fine effort worthy of any
chinese restaurant.
Another milestone this morning as Robert managed to
make some rather nice egg n bacon butties for breakfast. Considering he usually
spends the majority of the time hanging off the stern of the boat throwing
anything he's eaten away, a result I say.
Loads and loads of Dolphins, one group staying
about 3 hours this morning and still there. No whales or pigeons or Doves as
other boats are reporting though.
Lots of friendly banter over the VHF with ourselves
seeming to take a fair bit of it with comments about looking after "our" pigeons
or ferrets, it's all good fun though.
The weathers not brilliant but a good wind,
hopefully should see us around Cape Finisterre tonight and into Bayona for a
glass or two to celebrate tomorrow afternoon (ish)
As always, take care at home and out here, or
there.
Love
The Boys xx
