Day 3 (HOW DEEP !!!)?

Bright warm sunshine, endless hours of down wind sailing whilst dressed in shorts and T shirts. Good job there's no money back gaurantee with this rally. We're still here dressed in all our warm gear whilst the weather's dull and grey. We are however getting the downwind sailing. We've had all 3 sails set for the best part of 24 hours now, and we were very suprised at the position reports yesterday to find we'd made some distance up on a lot of entries and even overtaken a good few. (even that rabble on Rebel T)  Otherwise a quite days sailing, we've had the Dolphins for company this morning and been "buzzed" twice, by what we presume to be a Spanish or French air force plane, VERY low and very close to the boat. We can only assume we're being used for some sort of search and rescue exercise.
Oh and to answer the question in the header, we're in about 2 and a half miles of water, straight down that is !
Peter's finally admitted what we already knew, that he smells so he's promised to wash some of his underwear today, we'll see. Otherwise he'll be arriving in Bayona naked as we'll have thrown his clothes overboard.
Talking of naked (which I know, YOU weren't) there's been no sight or sound of Ruby since yesterday when we saw them having a battle with their spinnaker behind us. We believe it may have got torn in the ensuing malee but hopefully they survived unscathed, maybe we'll hear more today...
As always love to all our friends and family who may be reading this,
Take Care
