Left Jolly Harbour at 1640 yesterday (12th May) and since then we have been fairly bowling along. The wind is fair in the east around F5 and the day has been a mixture of sun and cloud. It’s v hot 30+ but those of the crew who have been out here for months do not seem to notice. It’s a joy to be out at sea and away from those mossies that made such a meal of me in JH. Graham is just preparing lunch of bread and tinned chicken. We sadly have been unable to acquire the culinary delights that we enjoyed on the journey out but don’t expect to starve.
