The windhas got up a bit andis now F 5 to 6 but obligngly from just aftof the beam so easy sailing. Fernando de Noronha is about 85 miles away so we should get there around dawn and to that end have reduced sail a bit to slow down.

It may not be possible to stay at F de N however as we have exited Brazil and so it will be rather irregular, butone can ask. The archipelago is supposed to be very beautiful however, with exceptionally clear water so worth a try! If denied permission then it will be a turn to port and another 1100 miles to French Guyana.

We were treated to a fantastic display of dolphin athletics yesterday afternoon. The water round the boat is so crystal clear that that the slightest wiggle of a dolphin tail can be seen. They stayed with us for 30 minutes, squeaking and calling; we could hear them through the hull.
