Happy Birthday Philip Nurse for tomorrow.
Progress yesterday had us sorting things out on the boat as we have all
decided that leaving her in Tromso is a necessary move. All of us have
pressing engagements elsewhere and Awelina will be made safe here for a few
weeks.
Yesterday we attempted one last project while afloat. James had brought
along the half finished sculling oars for the hard dinghy and we decided to
have a go at planing them into shape - especially since they have been
sharing a bed with Hannah for the last few weeks. We'll attach a few
pictures in Tromso before we sign off for a few weeks.
In the meantime we approach 70 North - wondering where the time has gone and
what it's going to be like sailing in the dark. Yesterday we had a sort of
sunrise with the sun lower in the sky than we have seen it for weeks. Hang
on to that heatwave - we're on our way home.
