We decided to try an anchorage called Dyenekilen. It was full of rocks and a

tricky entrance, and not mentioned in the pilot book but we crept in and

once inside it's quite snug. We heard

some rifle shots, which was a bit odd since it was getting on for midnight

and we suppose that anyone practicing on the beach at Eidemhamna would do it

during the 'day'. We hope they weren't eaten by bears!

A peaceful night although the barometer keeps falling. It was colder than we

were used to although we have all acclimatised to the cold considerably

since being here - fewer layers being needed during the day and the evening.
