This morning we sailed back to Longyearbjen to drop Eddy off and to collect the new crew - James' son Peter returned to the boat with Hannah Hudson - Jon Hudson's daughter (Jon does our transmissions for weather and ice on HF). The rest of the day has been spent in getting stores and sorting out the boat ready for sailing on Northwards this afternoon. the blog will now return to it's non-photograph form for a few days until we get back from our attempt to sail to 80 degrees north and circumnavigate the small Island of Moffen. We hope to report back to you about the walrus colony there as the guide book tells us that its " a sight and smell to be marvelled at".
