Hi Derry
Good to hear from you. Substituting the shamrock with the Tiki is a novel way of celebrating Paddy's day. You havent seen any sign of the missing Malaysian Boeing I suppose on your travels? Anyhow enjoy and safe sailing to the next port.
Regards
Liam

hi to all from hiva oa in french polynesia .arrived sat amjust after midnight after a slow crossing with poor winds and lots of tropical showers with their associated wind systems .but apart from a spinnaker pole nothing broken and the pole is now 2 feet shorter.went yesterday to see the tikis at end of island took 2hours by car there and 2 back .tiki are the somewhat grotesque statues thhey have here .the tiki here are the biggest inthe islands ,only easter island have bigger.so we will celebrate st paddys day here derry=
