hi from horta on faial in the azores .all well here .no
real news .the place is buzzing with yachts arriving every day fleeing the
carribean for the hurricane season.
they stay a few days if no real damage but a lot have
sails in tatters ,broken furlers,engines not working and ahost of other
problems.some have litany of problems and i sympathise having come into
fremantle with just such a list.we are witing for cutlass bearing and here the
attitude is manana .but they say it will be here tomorrow each day.azores very
nice and well worth visit.we will visit each of the islands before heading to
home.derry
