After 5 days of ample winded sailing the crew have
arrived in Samoa. There was excitment along the way when donnacha reeled in a
25kg Dorado or as the locals call it a mahi mahi! The weather has been perfect,
all crew are well and excited at the prospect of Tahiti and beyond. During the
passage from Fiji Avocet crossed not only the international date line but the
180 degree line leaving us lying west of grenwich
now.
