No news is nearly always good news....
Sorry for being inattentive to our readers when we arrived at the Azores.
We arrived on Monday at about 9:00 am. The picture shows the sun rising beyond the Island of Faial.
Of course... as soon as we arrived there were many jobs to be done and fleshpots of Horta to be explored.
Customs, immigration, VAT, laundry, gas, bilge pump and fridge repair. Washing down, drying out, sorting and restowing .
Libby arrived to join the crew and Jo decided that he had to go back to work. My friend Elizabeth came for the 2 days.
We were all wishing that the plan included more time on Faial and a sailing visit to some of the other 8 Islands. The Azores are a very nice place to visit. The people are very friendly, prices are reasonable and the place is unspoiled and beautiful.
I can highly reccomend it.
