We are down to 915miles to go, but the uncertaintees of arrival day remain just as complex. The forecast changes just as aften as the wind does. One moment we are yachting along at 10knots, the next we are motoring with all sails down to prevent that dreadful constant "thwack ...thwack" you get with the boat rolling in these swells.
Last night was the 1000 miles to go celebration. Nature responded with the most impressive artistic display of light, colour and contrast. There was no way to capture it, but here is a pic anyway.
This morning after a night under engine we did capture the other pic ...quite by chance. You are not going to believe me, but this is Mother, naked, doing his best swallow dive whilst remaining very modest. It is the only one he did and he did not inform the cameraman, who just happened to squeeze the shutter at the right moment....!
