Bashing Along

Well folks...
We are bashing along out here and wish we were back home.... The sea is very lumpy and jumps on board quite often. There are large pot holes in the ocean that we occasionally fall into with a crashing bang. Other than that everything is fine.
Captain Mannering is doing his best to keep the ship in good order and the men doing their tasks. Mother is succeeding in feeding us well against all the odds. The rest of us are sciving off and staying in our bunks as much as possible.
Looking fgorward to the wind backing a bit and allowing us to sail more comfortably.
