Well, we're still here and have only 1180nm left
to go, so that should be at least another 8 days at
sea. The last 24 hours have held great excitement; we had to change the
sail plan when the wind shifted from the east to a more southerly direction
and even used the cruising chute for a couple of hours
 (this didn't last long and we are now back on our
twin head sail rig heading west) and most excitingly we saw another boat.
However, this was a fairly fleeting glimpse and as with most other boat
sightings so far in the passage, the yacht sailed away in a different direction
to us. Yet again we wonder if there is something lacking in our
navigation skills.
