25:30.140N 076:51.60W Hey, PoL follows. We left the marina at 08.00 hrs and were straight out into a stiff breeze and reasonable lumps to complete a 50nm shunt up to an anchorage by Little Egg Island, Eleuthera. There have been all the usual starting excitements, diesel smells, sea-sickness but these were easily borne given the blue skies, the boat handling well and a pod of dolphins at 13.00. We are due to set off at about 18.30 to start our true oceanic odyssey - we are heading east until Saturday morning - all under the care of Sqdr Ldr (rtrd) Mikey. Bermuda is in our sights.
