We roared down the west coast of Europe and rounded the Cascais/Lisbon point in calm seas. Once more the 160hp Yanmar was driving the boat. JE and I got to discuss the relative merits of "Delivery Speed" (for which read warp speed Scotty) at 8.7 kts consuming 15 litres an hour and "Owner Speed" which is a more sedate litre per nm match at 7.5 kts.

Gaylord and partner had frequent dolphin watching seat parleys. Everyone's tan was progressing.

Crabby made lunch but had some trouble dividing the pizza into six. Two 1/4s, one 1/5, two 1/6s and the remainder.
