Well, we made it to Flores a midday yesterday, Pete winning the sweep with an arrival prediction to the minute. Arrival celebrations rather drove the log into second place. The run in for the last 24 hours went very smoothly, a benign current, dolphins, jellyfish and one solitary distant whale providing the backdrop. Flores is the most western part of the Azores, and there were only 6 boats in the harbour, one of them leaving as we pulled in, creating perfect space on the harbour wall. The local policeman drove down to the quay to meet us, formalities were completed on the bonnet and Irie was officially in Portugal and we're back in Europe.
