ABOUT TO SET SAIL
Well who would of thought that when I was bored one
day in Canada surfing the net and looking at the Ex Midnight Sun website that 5
months later I would have been selected to take part in the first leg and
today I am preparing Adventure for a 4 day training exercise.
With a crew of 14 we spent all day Sat shopping and
stowing equipment ready to set sail and today we are about to leave rainy
Gosport and head off towards FASTNET to put into practice all the training we
have done so far and probably find some more rain.
I have not found out yet why I was told to bring a
pair of shorts with me; I think I am working off the wrong loading
list.
Well must go now we are about to cast
off.
