Maxi Solo Gitana 17 (http://www.gitana-team.com/en/) is a trimaran and it looks as though it was out limbering up for a pop at the Jules Verne Trophy later in the year.  The Jules Verne Trophy is a prize for the fastest circumnavigation of the world by any type of yacht. At the time of posting the record is held by Francis Joyon with a time of just under 41 days, set in 2017 in the trimaran IDEC Sport.
