So today is the 3rd March. This day, 6 years ago, I did the deed! I did the
decent thing and married Ems. It was a hell of a day and each year we take
time out to remember just how good it was.

This year, just like every other, we celebrated being married for 6 years.
Its not a long time really, but still worth celebrating. We are anchored in
the most romantic place I could possibly dream of.

So this afternoon, we loaded up the kayak with champagne, glasses, hammock
and my fly rod. We paddled over to our own little private island, sat on
'our' beach and
guzzled a bottle of champagne in about half an hour. It was. as they say, a
bit of a 'moment'. We reminisced and we looked around us and realised just
how lucky we are to be where we are, and doing what we are doing.

As I fished in the shallows, an Eagle Ray swam by. No bloody fish swam by,
but then that's par for the course! Still, it was another 'moment'. Awesome!

Poor old Nick and Lynds are having a bit of a time of it. They have 30 knots
blowing through and 12 ft seas. The good news is that they are over half
way, but still it sounds a bit of a slog! We think about them every day and
catch up by email each day. Its not long now though, till they will be with
us!

So that's our day. Sorry if it sounds a bit sentimental, but I try to keep
the blog honest!

We plan to be here for quite a few days. Its the closest place to paradise
I've ever been, so no need to rush away, really. As normal there are a few
jobs to do on the boat. Have we mentioned varnishing before? It would seem
that there is more due! The joys of a wooden boat! (yes David, I Know!) A
few other bits and bobs to do too, but nothing too taxing or stressful. God
forbid anything gets too stressful!

Anyway, Sorry to go on. Till the next time!

Love

J and Ems xxx
