Holandes Cays are very popular with the long term cruisers in the San Blas and although beautiful they get busy. There are a lot more local Kunas selling their Molas. For information, Molas are pieces of fabric sewn by hand by the local ladies. Each Mola takes 1 month to make. It really is an incredible piece of work. Although I'm not usually into this sort of thing, it seemed the done thing to purchase at least one. The local Indians are very friendly and they speak little to no English, so much smiling and nodding is done. They wear very colourful fabrics and lots of beads.
