Much of the time crossing an ocean is actually quite dull. Normally
not much happens on a night watch, except for a few shooting stars
and perhaps the odd squall. I guess this had something to do with it,
and the fact that Serai seems to encourage such happenings. Anyway,
Ems and I overcame the boredom, and I am delighted to announce to you
all that the Willis' are expecting a new addition. Its all a bit
scary and certainly very exciting, but I am sure the newbie can't be
as much trouble as boats.
So begins a new era in our lives. We have begun the immigration
process in order to remain legally in New Zealand, and I have begun
the search for a job, in order to keep the now pregnant mother in the
manner to which she has become accustomed! It would seem that this
new status can be used with some gusto as a bargaining tool in many
things, such as trips to the shops, general running about and
requests for chocolate etc!
So it looks like we shall have a Kiwi baby, due at the end of May. I
can only hope that it is as beautiful as the county in which it will
be making its first appearance!
Till the next time!
J and Ems xx
