Kelpie is belting along in this steady force 5 breeze on
her starboard quarter. The 24 hour day's run is 165 miles which is an
average of 6.8 knots. We frequently see 8+ knots on the dial. With
two reefs, Kelpie does not seem unduly stressed.
Weather is brilliantly sunny with a big, lumpy sea which
is quite tiring but otherwise spirits high..
No wildlife to report and we are going way too fast for
fishing
