Had problems starting Yanni the Yanmar - had to jumper the house batteries onto the service one. Eventually got him running. Refuelled 197 litres
Lovely sunny day with northerly breeze
Slipped the fuel pontoon at 1215 heading south again for a fast run dead downwind with genoa poled out to windward. Over the afternoon and as we sailed into Portuguese waters, the wind built to a boisterous F7; by the time we got to Viana it was tipping the dial at F8 and we were down to 2 reefs in both genoa and main.
Relieved to get inside the breakwater at Viana just before dusk. Viana is charming and the Portuguese marina staff very welcoming
