Great Escape left Cascais on 19th and arrived in Portimao, Algarve on 20th. We are currently waiting until Saturday for a weather window to make the last 650 miles to Las Palmas. Due to the laptop receiving a soaking which we are in the process of replacing the blog will be intermittent.  All on board are well. Rob and Jeremy had to return to the UK as they were out of time. If you look at the Atlantic Chart the weather affecting the UK is stretching as far south as the Canaries. This is expected to change on Saturday when the NE re-establish themselves.
