Yesterday afternoon we reviewed the forecast and our skipper made the
agonising decision , in the interest of safety, to retire from the race. We
had got through a rough night but with a potential delay of one day we would
be well behind the fleet.that carried on. All aboard are dissappointed not
to have finished the race. But after a few jars in the pub last night have
decided that we will race the locals today in Falmouth regatta. We are
likely to get badly beaten but it gives them some extra sport!!!!!
