We are back on the move today having departed Valetta at 11:00hrs. Unfortunately we are now 1 crew lighter as Sandy had to return home due to work commitments leaving Richard and myself to continue onwards. The wind is on the nose again but it is a very steady and pleasant NW'ly F4. This has allowed Flyer to make a steady 7knots to windward and we have logged around 120NM at the time of writing. I have counted 11 shooting stars or meteors in my 4hr watch so far, maybe someone can advise if there is some kind of irregular activity at present? It has been another clear night with a great view of the constellations. The AIS and radar have both been well used as we have had up to 10 ships on screen at any time as they make the passage through the Strait of Sicily. Flyer is currently on track to clear the island of Pantelleria to the North on route for her next planned destination of Algiers.
