Flyer finally put to sea this morning at 11:10 following a delay in skippy travelling down to Kos due to some heavy weather offshore in the North Sea which prevented any flights to the Banff installation for 3 days. Dave, Richard and Sandy are now on the first leg of the "delivery" trip to Las Palmas. This first leg will be Kos to Malta and we are delighted with the excellent weather and forecasts so far. Wind today has been NWl'y F3-4 giving us a close reach on our course of 240M. Daytime temp's were around 23C with the sea temperature in the same region. Great to leave the storms of recent weeks behind. Now just looking forward to a steady routine following a lot of last minute travel changes. We have the new Gennaker onboard which travelled airfreight down to Kos. Now we have tested out the sat phone and e-mail comms we should be posting regular bulletins here.
