sail all the way with almost perfect winds we arrived in Gijon in N Spain. The
crossing took under three days which was very good We diverted into the east of the N Spain peninsular as there
were Gale force winds at Finisterre, we would wait until that settled before moving
on. After completing the entry formalities in Gijon we explored
the town. A very interesting little town. The locals all promenade along the sea front each evening,
then seem to end up in the old part of the town to drink the local Sidre |
