A quick visit to Plymouth

Following the quick shakedown sail along the coast to make sure the boat is ready for its journey, we arrived in Plymouth after a very brisk run from Portsmouth to Plymouth in 21 hours. A couple of minor adjustments tomorrow and we are off across Biscay he eastern breakwater into pp

 

 

Plymouth was another  major point of interest for me as I spent 3 years here doing my degree. And indeed it was as I remembered it because despite beautiful sunny weather all week, the moment we entered the breakwater  to Plymouth a  warm front hit us with continual drizzle and rain just as we were about to come alongside. We got soaked, so great memories of the weather in Plymouth
